Charls Carroll

Charls Carroll is an American internet personality known for his work in sketch comedy, evolving his career into solo productions and live streaming. After co-founding the sketch comedy group Million Dollar Extreme (MDE) in 2009, Charls Carroll established himself as a distinctive voice in online comedy, producing absurdist and transgressive videos that garnered significant attention on their YouTube channel, despite experiencing its first YouTube ban in 2013. MDE’s groundbreaking work culminated in a series order from Adult Swim for ‘Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace,’ which premiered on August 5, 2016. Carroll played multiple roles in the series, including Charls and Jeff’s Mother, and notably served as a writer and executive producer for six episodes during its run.

The series concluded in December 2016 after its first season. Following the Adult Swim series, Carroll further diversified his career, transitioning his focus to solo productions and expanding his presence into live streaming on platforms like Twitch. He co-founded ‘Bombstrap’ with Andrew Ruse, exploring new creative avenues for short films and sketches on his personal YouTube channel. Demonstrating his early versatility, Carroll’s acting credits from 2013 include an appearance as a Beach Goer in ‘Birdemic 2: The Resurrection’ and portraying Doctor Homonculus Manslave in ‘Doctor Manslave.’ He also contributed his writing talents to projects such as ‘Murder Charls’ in 2014 and ‘Charls Bombstrap (9/11-2)’ in 2015.

He continued his prolific writing work for ‘The Palace’ TV series in 2023. Carroll maintains his role as an innovative writer, actor, and producer across multiple platforms, with an enduring creative vision. As a testament to his continued impact, Carroll has announced the spiritual continuation of the MDE series, ‘Million Dollar Extreme Presents: Extreme Peace,’ which is slated for release in 2025.
