Charls Carroll

Charls Carroll is an American internet personality, actor, writer, and producer. He gained prominence as a co-founder of the sketch comedy group Million Dollar Extreme (MDE). MDE produced various absurdist and transgressive sketch comedy videos, initially on their YouTube channel, which often centered on themes that mocked political correctness. In 2013, the group experienced its first YouTube ban. His work with MDE culminated in the Adult Swim television series, “Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace.”

The series, which aired from 2016 to 2017, featured Charls in multiple roles, including Charls and Jeff’s Mother, and he also served as a writer and executive producer for six episodes. “Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace” initially received a series order in March 2016 and premiered on August 5, 2016. The show faced internal and external controversies related to accusations of alt-right connections and was subsequently canceled after its first season in December 2016. Following the cancellation, Carroll shifted his focus to producing short films and sketches under his personal YouTube channel and co-founded “Bombstrap” with Andrew Ruse.

Carroll has also expanded his presence into live streaming on Twitch. His career progressed with projects such as “Charls World,” a TV series in which he acted, wrote, and produced across 12 episodes from 2019 to 2020. He also acted in the short film “Mr. Pregnant” in 2019 and “Our House” in 2022, where he also contributed as a writer. In 2023, he contributed as a writer for “The Palace” TV series. His acting credits also include “Birdemic 2: The Resurrection” in 2013, where he appeared as a Beach Goer, and “Doctor Manslave” in the same year, portraying Doctor Homonculus Manslave.
