Chloe Esposito

Chloe Esposito is an Olympic gold medalist in modern pentathlon, renowned for her record-breaking performance at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Her professional career began with early competitive successes, including participation in an Olympic selection event in 2007 and representing Australia at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in 10m air pistol. Esposito made her highly anticipated Olympic debut at the London 2012 Games, where she finished an impressive seventh overall. This landmark performance positioned her as the first Australian modern pentathlete to achieve a top 10 finish at the Olympics since 1964.

Following her unparalleled Olympic triumph, Esposito garnered significant national recognition. In 2016, she was honored as the ABC Sports Personality of the Year at the prestigious Australian Institute of Sport Performance Awards. The following year, her contributions to sport and country were further acknowledged when she was awarded the esteemed Order of Australia Medal (2017).
