Chris Conrad

Chris Conrad was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he was raised as the third of four brothers. During his youth, he actively participated in sports such as football, baseball, wrestling, and rugby. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Florida State University. While attending college, he worked at the campus radio station, a role he secured through his older brother, Tim, who was a sports broadcaster. This early experience provided Chris with an opportunity to explore his comedic interests.

Following his sophomore year, Conrad moved to Chicago and spent a year studying at the Piven Theatre Workshop. He then secured an agent and landed his first acting role in the television movie “Mario and the Mob.” Subsequently, he relocated to Hollywood with his brother Steve, who was developing the script for “Wrestling Ernest Hemingway.” This period marked the beginning of Conrad’s professional acting career, leading to roles in an episode of “Raven” and the film “Star Food.” During this time, he also co-founded an improvisational group called The Stick Men in Los Angeles.

Over the years, Conrad has built a career in acting, appearing in a variety of productions. His notable roles include Jack in “Airborne” (1993), Eric McGowen in “The Next Karate Kid” (1994), and portraying Johnny Cage in “Mortal Kombat Annihilation” (1997). In television, he is recognized for his role as Young Jason in “Young Hercules” (1998–1999) and Dennis McClaren in “Patriot” (2015–2018). More recently, he appeared as New Leaf in “Perpetual Grace, LTD” (2019) and had a role in “Ultra City Smiths” (2021). Beyond acting, he maintains an active lifestyle, training in kickboxing, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
