About

Christopher Convery was born on January 15, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada. His career began at the age of seven when he secured a principal role on Broadway as Young Charlie in ‘Kinky Boots’, starring opposite Billy Porter. This opportunity led his family to relocate to New York City, where he attended the Professional Performing Arts School for five years. During this period, Convery expanded his work into film and television projects, establishing a foundation for his acting career across various mediums. His early theatrical experience provided a basis for his subsequent roles.

Convery has accumulated a range of acting credits in both film and television. His filmography includes appearances in Fede Álvarez’s ‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web’ (2018), where he played August Balder, and William Brent Bell’s ‘Brahms: The Boy II’ (2020), in which he portrayed Jude. He also appeared as Ezra in the 2022 film ‘Prisoner’s Daughter’, starring alongside Brian Cox and Kate Beckinsale, a role for which he was on the heels of ‘Best Breakout Male Actor’ at the Toronto International Film Festival. Other film work includes ‘Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game’ (2022) as Seth and ‘By Dawn’ (2019) as Kelan Pack.

In television, Convery has held supporting and recurring roles in several prominent series. He featured as Young Billy in Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ (2019) and had a recurring role as Martin in Fox’s ‘Gotham’ (2017–2018) for five episodes. His television appearances also include ‘On the Verge’ (2021) as Albert for 10 episodes, ‘MacGyver’ (2020) as Asher Reinman, ‘Chicago Med’ (2019) as Jesse Green, and ‘Succession’ (2018) as Kid at Theme Park #1. He also appeared in ‘The Blacklist: Redemption’ (2017) as Keaton Lang and ‘Haters Back Off!’ (2017) as Young Patrick. Currently, Convery resides in Los Angeles.
