Colton Underwood has transitioned from a professional football player and reality television personality to a prominent advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, sharing his experiences and insights. After gaining national prominence through his appearances on various reality television series, Colton, a former professional football player, transitioned into a leading public figure. He initiated his professional athletic career by signing as an undrafted free agent with the San Diego Chargers in 2014, subsequently spending time on the practice squads for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014 and the Oakland Raiders in 2015 and 2016. In 2018, Colton captivated audiences as a contestant on the 14th season of ‘The Bachelorette’ and later that year, participated in season 5 of ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’ His burgeoning media career further escalated when he was announced as the lead for the 23rd season of ‘The Bachelor,’ which aired in 2019.
