Colton Flasch is a renowned Canadian curler who has made a name for himself in the sport both nationally and internationally. He was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and has been involved in competitive curling since he was a young child.
Flasch’s curling career took off when he joined the University of Saskatchewan’s men’s curling team, where he played as their skip. Under his leadership, the team won the Canadian Interuniversity Sport championship in 2011.
Shortly after graduating from university in 2013, Flasch decided to pursue a professional curling career. He made his debut on the World Curling Tour at the Humpty’s Champions Cup in April of that year, and has been competing at the highest levels of the sport ever since.
Over the course of his career, Flasch has won numerous championships and titles, including the 2014 Saskatchewan Men’s Provincial Championship and the 2018 WCT Mixed Doubles Championships. He has also represented Canada on the international stage, playing as the third for Kevin Koe’s team at the 2019 World Men’s Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta, where they won a bronze medal.
Off the ice, Flasch is known for his work as a curling coach and mentor. He has hosted clinics and training sessions for young curlers across Canada, and is passionate about helping the next generation of athletes succeed in the sport he loves.
