Nina Roth

Nina Roth is an Olympian curler who has competed in multiple World Championships and represented the United States at two Winter Olympic Games. After securing her first U.S. Club National Championship in 2006, Nina Roth went on to establish herself as a leading curler on the national and international stages. She quickly followed this success with her first U.S.

Building on her Olympic experience, Roth continued to compete at an elite level, earning a coveted bronze medal at the 2021 World Women’s Curling Championship. She maintained her Olympic involvement as vice skip for Team USA at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, where the team achieved a sixth-place finish. Throughout her decorated career, Roth has consistently balanced her athletic pursuits with her professional life, maintaining a career as a dedicated nurse at a critical illness recovery hospital, a profession she pursued while balancing competitive curling and her studies at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. In 2022, following her second Olympic appearance, Roth announced a strategic pause from competitive team curling.

This allowed her to recalibrate and focus on other professional and personal endeavors. Despite this temporary hiatus from traditional team play, her profound impact on the sport and her status as a two-time Olympian remained undiminished, underscoring her versatility and commitment to excellence beyond the ice. Demonstrating her enduring passion and skill for curling, Nina Roth is set to return to competitive play in 2025, focusing on mixed doubles curling.
