India Yash Dhull has rapidly ascended from a successful youth cricketer to a promising talent in Indian domestic cricket.
Yash Dhull was purchased by the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League auction, marking his entry into franchise cricket. His inclusion in the squad was based on his burgeoning reputation as a promising young talent.
The ECI appointed Cricketer Yash Dhull as Delhi's Brand Ambassador, recognizing his status as the U-19 Cricket World Cup Winning Captain and an alumnus of Bal Bhavan.

Yash Vijay Dhull, born on November 11, 2002, in New Delhi, India, began his cricketing journey at the age of 11. He quickly showed aptitude for the sport, progressing through local circuits and representing Delhi at various age-group levels. Dhull’s leadership abilities became evident early on, as he captained the Delhi Under-14 and Under-16 cricket teams. His dedication and performance led him to be entrusted with the captaincy of the India national under-19 cricket team, a significant milestone in his formative years.
Dhull’s international career gained prominence when he led India to victory at the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies. During this tournament, he demonstrated both his batting skill and leadership, notably scoring 110 runs against Australia in the Super League semi-final, which secured India’s place in the final. Following this success, he was named captain of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) team of the tournament. His transition to senior domestic cricket was marked by a remarkable debut for Delhi in the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy, where he scored twin centuries against Tamil Nadu. He concluded the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy as Delhi’s highest run-scorer with 479 runs at an average of 119.75, which included three centuries, one of which was an unbeaten double hundred against Chhattisgarh.
His talent was recognized by the Indian Premier League, leading to his acquisition by the Delhi Capitals in the 2022 IPL auction. Dhull made his Twenty20 debut for Delhi in the 2022–23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Manipur and his List A debut in the 2022–23 Vijay Hazare Trophy against Vidarbha. Further showcasing his potential, he scored his first List A century for India A against United Arab Emirates A in the 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, with an unbeaten 108 runs from 84 balls. Yash Dhull continues to develop as a cricketer, with a focus on contributing to both domestic and international platforms.
