Cooper and Luca Coyle, born July 19, 1998, in Long Island, New York, gained initial public recognition on Vine during their teenage years. They later transitioned their online presence to YouTube in 2016, where they produced various video content including personal storytimes. A notable milestone in their early YouTube career was the viral video “Twins come out to mom & you won’t believe her reaction” released in May 2018, documenting their coming out experience. This period marked a turning point in their public persona as they moved towards embracing their authentic selves.
Following their expansion into drag, Cooper and Luca introduced their drag personas, Sugar and Spice. They began experimenting with drag and cultivating these characters, which led to their significant rise on TikTok. The duo rapidly accumulated a large following on the platform, reaching over 3.8 million followers by early 2021 and 7.4 million by 2023.
