Daniel Faalele

Daniel Faalele has established himself as a prominent offensive lineman in the NFL, demonstrating a unique journey from rugby in Australia to professional football in the United States and earning recognition for his physical presence and performance on the field. After being discovered by a University of Hawai?i football team coach while scouting players, Daniel Faalele transitioned from rugby to Football, attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He spent 2016 learning the sport, rapidly developing into a formidable talent. By 2017, Faalele secured a starting position on the offensive line, contributing significantly to an undefeated season and earning a prestigious selection to the 2018 Under Armour All-America Game.

This early success led him to commit to play college football at the University of Minnesota, choosing the program over numerous prominent Division I offers. Faalele made an immediate impact during his collegiate career at the University of Minnesota. As a true freshman in 2018, he played in 10 games and started the final eight at right tackle, earning an honorable mention for the All-Big Ten Conference. His exceptional performance led to his recognition on GQ Australia’s esteemed list of 50 Greatest Living Athletes in 2019.

Maintaining his crucial role, he further demonstrated his consistent contributions in 2025 by playing 6 games, all as a starter, cementing his position as a valuable asset to the Baltimore Ravens.
