Daniel Newman was born on June 14, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia. He spent his early childhood in a small rural farm town outside Atlanta and briefly attended Yale University. Newman later relocated to Brooklyn, NY, to pursue a passion for music, where he gigged with his band across the city and along the East Coast. During this period, he was discovered by photographer Bruce Weber, an encounter that launched a successful modeling career. Newman subsequently modeled for prominent fashion designers including Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Tommy Hilfiger, appearing on magazine covers and in editorials worldwide.
