Daniel Sugai

Dr. Daniel Sugai, a Harvard-trained, board-certified, and award-winning dermatologist, established his specialized expertise through a comprehensive dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School from 2013 to 2016. During this rigorous program, he trained across an unparalleled network of prestigious institutions, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital, which equipped him with profound knowledge in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. This period was preceded by a highly competitive Internal Medicine Internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical/Harvard Medical School from 2012 to 2013, solidifying his foundational clinical skills.

Earlier in his academic career, Dr. Sugai served as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society at the University of Hawaii, John A Burns School of Medicine, and graduated as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society from the University of Hawaii, where he earned a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Art.
