Daung is a Burmese film and television actor and former footballer, known for his method acting and diverse roles in both film and television. After being selected from nearly 500 amateur actors for his debut, Daung established himself as a prominent Burmese film and television actor with a leading role in the 2015 film ‘The Second Heart.’ He further gained recognition with his role in the 2017 film ‘Little Umbrella Story,’ a domestic success. His popularity significantly increased through the 2017 television series ‘Bagan Myo Thu,’ where his portrayal of Maung Maung Gyi contributed to the show becoming the most-watched Burmese television drama at the time. Prior to his acting career, Daung showcased his athleticism as a striker for Southern Myanmar F.C., signing in 2012 before transitioning to entertainment.

This role marked a significant step in his cross-border career, showcasing his ability to connect with diverse audiences.
