Dylan Snyder

Dylan Snyder, born Dylan Riley Jacob Snyder on January 24, 1997, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, commenced his entertainment career in community theater at the age of five. His initial speaking role was as “Tiny Tim” in a production of “A Christmas Carol.” This early exposure led to further involvement in University of Alabama productions, where he developed his acting, singing, and dancing skills. Notable early theater credits include “Dill Harris” in “To Kill a Mockingbird” and “Michael Darling” in “Peter Pan.” In 2003, his family relocated to Petal, Mississippi, where he performed with the Mississippi Boys Choir and the Hattiesburg Civic Light Opera. Following Hurricane Katrina, the family returned to Alabama, and Snyder, encouraged by a family friend, moved to New York City to pursue professional theater.

In 2006, Snyder secured the role of “Young Tarzan” in Disney’s Broadway musical adaptation of “Tarzan,” making his Broadway debut in September of that year and performing in 169 shows until July 2007. During his time in New York, he continued his performing arts education, taking ballet, tap dance, and voice lessons. He also ventured into modeling, appearing in print ads for H&M and Lord & Taylor, and commercials for brands such as Univest Bank and Benadryl. His television work expanded with roles in “Sesame Street” segments and voice acting for Nickelodeon’s “Wonder Pets!” Snyder made his film debut in 2009 with “Valley of the Moon” and gained critical acclaim for his role as Timmy Maplewood in the 2009 dramatic comedy “Life During Wartime.” Todd McCarthy from Variety praised his performance, highlighting his ability to portray a young character facing complex emotional challenges.

Snyder’s career progressed into co-starring as Milton Krupnick on the Disney XD original comedy series “Kickin’ It,” which premiered in June 2011. He moved to Los Angeles for the series, which became Disney XD’s top original series and ran for four seasons. In 2015, he starred as Milton in the film “Mamaboy.” More recently, Snyder has expanded into filmmaking, co-running Watch The Footage (WTF) Productions as an in-house director and cinematographer. His 2019 short film, “Room 566,” received multiple awards, including Best Horror Short at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival and Best Director (Male) at IndieX Film Fest and Independent Shorts Awards. His work as an actor includes appearances in “Better Call Saul” (2017) and “Will & Grace” (2019), and films such as “Flock of Four,” “C.O.R.N.,” and “Crabs!”. He married actress Allisyn Snyder in 2019.
