David Croft

David Croft has transitioned from BBC Radio sports reporter to the lead commentator for Formula One on Sky Sports, bringing his voice to millions of motorsport fans. After taking on the pivotal role of Formula One commentator and presenter for BBC Radio 5 Live in 2006, David Croft quickly established himself as a leading voice in motorsport broadcasting. He provided detailed commentary for Grand Prix races, qualifying sessions, and practice sessions, working alongside figures such as Anthony Davidson, Ted Kravitz, and Natalie Pinkham. Prior to his F1 tenure, Croft joined BBC Radio 5 Live in December 1998, where his responsibilities included extensive coverage of major sporting events, notably the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics.
