David Peters

David Peters, born on April 16, 1987, in Toledo, Ohio, began his poker career after being inspired by Chris Moneymaker’s 2003 WSOP Main Event win. He started by playing online freeroll tournaments, famously winning one for $600, which served as a catalyst for his extensive and successful career. Since 2006, Peters has been an active participant in significant poker tournaments across the United States and internationally, earning him the nickname “silent assassin” due to his focused and unassuming demeanor at the tables. His career live tournament winnings exceed $45,000,000, making him one of the most prolific tournament players in the world.

Peters’ achievements include four World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. His first bracelet was won in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2016 World Series of Poker, where he earned $412,557. He secured his second bracelet during the 2020 World Series of Poker Online, an event organized during the COVID-19 pandemic. His third bracelet came in the 2021 WSOP Online in the $7,777 No Limit Hold’em Lucky 7s High Roller. He achieved his fourth bracelet at the 2022 WSOP in the $100,000 High Roller Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event, securing $1,166,810.
