Dean Muhtadi

Dean Muhtadi has transitioned from a collegiate and NFL athlete to a professional wrestler, and now to a talent agency founder and media personality. After signing with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent following the 2009 NFL draft, Dean Muhtadi embarked on a professional athletic career that would span the NFL and WWE. Muhtadi’s collegiate achievements as a top student-athlete at Christopher Newport University and the University of Maryland included two All USA South Athletic Conference All-Academic selections, the Edith McMurran Honors Scholarship, and in 2008, the Jim and Pat Thacker Postgraduate Scholarship and the George Boutselis Memorial Award for academic excellence. He also played for the Arizona Cardinals in 2010 before transitioning to professional wrestling.

A career highlight came in 2017 when he won the prestigious André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33, a testament to his in-ring prowess and fan appeal. Between 2019 and 2020, Muhtadi notably held the WWE 24/7 Championship seven times, showcasing his consistent presence and championship pedigree within the organization. His contract with WWE concluded in April 2021. Following his departure from WWE in April 2021, Muhtadi successfully transitioned into entrepreneurship and media.

Currently, Muhtadi continues to build his presence as a media personality, co-hosting ‘TMZ Sports’ on Fox Sports FS1. This role highlights his engaging on-screen presence and ability to connect with a broad audience as a television presenter. He also contributes to the ‘God Bless Football’ podcast, further showcasing his insightful commentary and versatility as a talk show host. Through his diverse ventures in talent representation, film, and sports media, Muhtadi remains a dynamic and marketable figure across multiple entertainment platforms.
