Dejan Georgievski

Dejan Georgievski is a North Macedonian Taekwondo practitioner who achieved an Olympic silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, marking a significant milestone for his country. After earning a historic silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics in 2021, Dejan Georgievski solidified his standing as an elite taekwondo practitioner for North Macedonia. Competing in the men’s heavyweight (+87 kg) and +80 kg Olympic categories, Georgievski first made a significant impact by securing a silver medal at the XVIIIth Mediterranean Games in 2018 in the men’s +80 kg taekwondo competition. His consistent performances in the global circuit also led to multiple medals at prestigious international events including the European Olympic Qualification Tournament, President’s Cup, Sofia Open, Turkish Open, Greece Open, Galeb Belgrade Trophy (Serbia Open), and Slovenia Open.

In 2022, he earned a bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Oran, Algeria. That same year, he added two more bronze medals to his collection at the Grand Prix Rome and the Grand Prix Riyadh (Final), showcasing his consistent presence at the sport’s highest levels. His medal streak continued into 2023 with a silver medal performance at the European Games in Kraków-Ma?opolska, further solidifying his impressive record. These consistent medal-winning performances across major international tournaments, from the Mediterranean Games to the European Games and the Olympic stage, underscore Georgievski’s dedication and skill within the global taekwondo circuit.

Regularly competing at the elite level in the men’s heavyweight and Olympic categories, he remains a prominent and highly competitive figure, continuously representing North Macedonia on the world stage.
