Dennis Miller

Dennis Miller, an Emmy Award-winning comedian, writer, and political commentator, achieved national recognition after joining the cast of NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 1985. Discovered by Lorne Michaels, Miller quickly became the iconic anchor for the ‘Weekend Update’ segment, a role he held from 1985 to 1991. During his tenure, his distinct comedic voice, characterized by sardonic delivery and sharp pop culture references, captivated audiences. This period also saw the release of his stand-up comedy album, The Off-White Album (1988), and his critically acclaimed HBO special, Dennis Miller: Black and White (1990).
