Celebrated cookbook author, food photographer and highly acclaimed chef Dennis Prescott shot to fame when he swapped music for food. The former musician taught himself to cook by working his way through cookbooks by Jamie Oliver, and as food became his obsession he created his booming Instagram account packed with his eclectic recipes and inspiring food photography. He has now amassed over 610,000 Instagram followers and has released his own cookbook Eat Delicious: 125 Recipes For Your Daily Dose of Awesome. Prescott’s new expertise also led to a starring role on Netflix restaurant makeover show Restaurants on the Edge, where the inspirational chef helps struggling restaurants revitalise their menus. The rising food star has developed recipes for brands including Frigidaire and Vita Coco and is a regular contributor to Food and Wine Magazine’s FWx.
A proud Atlantic Canadian, Prescott has come a long way from his days struggling as a musician based in Nashville. His study of Jamie Oliver’s cookbooks quickly turned into an obsession for food and he began to work alongside chefs in a number of restaurants whilst also growing his Instagram account. In just a few years he travelled the world as a chef, experimented with numerous recipes and techniques and taught several different communities how to cook. After many requests he has written a blog, and now connects with food lovers from all corners of the globe.
