His basketball journey began at Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he led his team to a 26–6 record and the 4A state championship game during his senior year. After a post-graduate year at Brewster Academy, where he averaged 17.2 points and 5.0 assists per game, Graham committed to the University of Kansas, setting the stage for a remarkable collegiate career.
