United States Dexter Lumis, known for his unique character work and in-ring presence, has carved a distinctive path in professional wrestling, culminating in a WWE Tag Team Championship.
Signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand. He is a member of The Wyatt Sicks, and is one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions alongside stablemate Joe Gacy.
Shaw made his way to Orlando to work as an illustrator for Universal Studios.

Samuel Robert Shaw was born on January 17, 1984, in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006, where he studied illustration, he initially pursued a career as an illustrator for Universal Studios and as a caricature artist. Shaw transitioned into professional wrestling, making his debut on September 21, 2007, following training at the WWA4 Wrestling School. During his early career on the independent circuit, he quickly established himself, notably becoming the first Vintage Heavyweight Champion in May 2009. He held this title three times, demonstrating his potential within various promotions like Full Impact Pro, Victory Pro Wrestling, and Florida Underground Wrestling.
His career advanced significantly when he joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) in 2010, initially appearing as Lupus. Shaw’s talent was recognized through the TNA Gut Check challenge in 2012, which led to a developmental contract and a stint in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he secured the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship twice. Upon returning to TNA as Samuel Shaw, he developed a distinctive character, showcasing his performance abilities. In 2019, Shaw signed with WWE, adopting the ring name Dexter Lumis, where he further refined his enigmatic persona. He was a prominent figure in NXT, engaging in significant storylines before his initial release in 2022.
Lumis made a notable return to WWE in August 2022, quickly becoming involved in main roster storylines. His commitment to character work, particularly the silent stalker, resonated with audiences. A significant career milestone occurred in July 2025 when, as a member of The Wyatt Sicks, he and Joe Gacy captured the WWE Tag Team Championship, marking his first championship win in WWE. This achievement, alongside his acting role in the TruTV series “Tacoma FD” and inclusion in multiple WWE 2K video games, highlights his diverse contributions and progression in entertainment.
