Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre transitioned from a UK independent circuit sensation to a celebrated WWE Superstar and global ambassador, known for his formidable in-ring presence and compelling character evolution. After establishing himself as the inaugural ICW World Heavyweight Champion and a sensation across the UK independent circuit, Drew McIntyre signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2007, adopting his professional ring name. During his initial WWE tenure, McIntyre quickly ascended, capturing the WWE Intercontinental Championship in 2009. He further solidified his status by winning the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2010 alongside Cody Rhodes, showcasing his prowess in the tag team division before an unexpected departure from the company in 2014.

Following his WWE departure, McIntyre embarked on a career rebuilding across the independent circuit. He became a dominant force, securing the ICW World Heavyweight Championship twice and holding the Evolve Championship once, alongside two reigns as Evolve Tag Team Champion. He also achieved significant success in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in 2016 and the Impact Grand Championship in 2017, in addition to the Open the Freedom Gate Championship. His revitalized persona and refined skills led to a triumphant return to WWE NXT in 2017, where he swiftly captured the NXT Championship that same year.

Additionally, he earned the Lifetime Achievement Award Bumpy Award in 2021, and the 2024 Slim Jim Savage Moment of the Summer, recognized for his strong mic skills and adaptable character work.
