The Rock recruited Drew McIntyre to be part of the latest launch of his Project Rock apparel line in collaboration with Under Armour, with McIntyre leading the promotional campaign.

Andrew McLean Galloway IV, known professionally as Drew McIntyre, was born on June 6, 1985, in Ayr, Scotland. He began training as a professional wrestler at the age of 15, while also pursuing his academic goals, earning a master’s degree in criminology from Glasgow Caledonian University. His early career saw him compete extensively across the United Kingdom and Ireland, where he quickly made a name for himself in promotions like British Championship Wrestling (BCW) and Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), becoming the inaugural ICW World Heavyweight Champion. His athletic build and dedication earned him a developmental contract with WWE in 2007, where he adopted the ring name Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre’s initial WWE run, under the moniker “The Chosen One,” saw him capture the Intercontinental Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship. After an unexpected departure from WWE in 2014, he returned to the independent circuit, dramatically rebuilding his career. During this period, he became a prominent figure in several promotions, including Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) where he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the Impact Grand Championship, and Evolve, where he held the Evolve Championship and Evolve Tag Team Championship. This period allowed him to hone his skills and develop a more intense persona, preparing him for a significant return to WWE.
Returning to WWE NXT in 2017, McIntyre quickly claimed the NXT Championship. His main roster comeback in 2018 saw him rise to unprecedented heights, winning the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match and subsequently defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 to capture his first WWE Championship. He later secured a second WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, and the 2024 Men’s Money in the Bank. Beyond his in-ring achievements, McIntyre has been recognized for his strong mic skills and ability to adapt, transitioning effectively between fan-favorite and villainous roles while consistently delivering high-quality performances.
