Donal Logue

Donal Logue received a Special Jury Prize for Outstanding Performance at the Sundance Film Festival for ‘The Tao of Steve’ in 2000, marking a pivotal moment in his diverse acting career. His professional journey began with his film debut in ‘Medusa: Dare to be Truthful’ in 1991, quickly followed by roles in the acclaimed films ‘Sneakers’ (1992) and ‘Gettysburg’ (1993). Logue honed his craft performing in over thirty plays during his time at Harvard University, graduating in 1988, before joining the Cornerstone Theatre Company, where he focused on community theatre. Prior to his Sundance recognition, he further established his presence in both independent and blockbuster cinema with appearances in ‘Blade’ (1998) and ‘The Patriot’ (2000).

Further showcasing his diverse talents, he co-authored ‘Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood’ in 2021, providing a compelling narrative for the memoir. Beyond his prolific acting and writing career, Logue is also an accomplished entrepreneur, having co-founded Frison-Logue Hardwood, a hardwood company, and Aisling Trucking, a trucking company.
