Dougray Scott

Dougray Scott, after establishing his acting skills at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, began his professional career with significant work in Scottish national theatre and television, including appearances in the series ‘Soldier Soldier’ and early film roles such as ‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’ and ‘Black Beauty.’ He gained international recognition with impactful performances in the 1998 films ‘Ever After’ opposite Drew Barrymore, and ‘Deep Impact.’ A notable turning point arrived with his role as the villain Sean Ambrose in ‘Mission: Impossible 2’ (2000), a part for which he was personally selected by Tom Cruise. This period also included his work in ‘Enigma’ (2001) and ‘Ripley’s Game’ (2002). Scott expanded his presence in American television, featuring as Moses in the ABC miniseries ‘The Ten Commandments’ (2006) and later in the NBC series ‘Heist’ (2006). He followed this with a recurring role in the hit ABC series ‘Desperate Housewives’ (2006-2007).

Scott also has ‘The Invisible’ in pre-production, ‘Summerwater’ in post-production, and ‘Her Private Hell’ currently filming, underscoring his continuous prolific output across film and television.
