Dr. Jenny Liu

Dr. Jenny Liu was named Chair of Dermatology at Hennepin Healthcare in 2022, a testament to her leadership and extensive clinical expertise. A board-certified dermatologist and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Liu earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and completed her dermatology residency program at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

She further honed her specialized skills through a transitional year and a fellowship in transitional medicine, both at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, establishing a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care. Throughout her career, Dr. Liu has made significant academic contributions, with her research widely published in peer-reviewed journals. Her work includes features in Pediatric Dermatology (2015, 2012), CUTIS (2014), and JAMA Dermatol (2014), alongside earlier contributions to J Surg Res (2011).

Liu is recognized as a national expert in cosmetic dermatology, specializing in ethnic skin and general dermatology.
