Dr. Samantha Ravich is a distinguished national security expert, technology entrepreneur, and a leading authority on cybersecurity and intelligence. Currently serving as the Chair of the Center on Cyber Technology Innovation, she is widely recognized for her impactful contributions to the fields of cyber warfare, intelligence gathering, and analysis.
During the George W. Bush Administration, Dr. Ravich played a pivotal role in the White House, serving for over five years as the Deputy National Security Advisor to Vice President Cheney. Her responsibilities included representing the Vice President on matters of Counter-Terrorism, Counter-Proliferation, and Asian and Middle East Affairs. Subsequently, she was appointed Republican Co-Chair of the National Commission for the Review of R&D Programs in the US Intelligence Community. In 2018, Dr. Ravich assumed the role of Vice Chair of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board under President Donald Trump.
Dr. Ravich’s academic journey led her to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and the RAND Graduate School, where she earned her PhD in Policy Analysis. An accomplished author, she penned “Marketization and Democracy: East Asian Experiences” and served as the Principal Investigator for the Cyber-Enabled Economic Warfare Project.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr. Ravich is a Managing Partner at A2P, a digital polling, marketing, and technology company, and a Principal at West Meadow, a defense and intelligence consulting firm. Her strategic insights extend to board memberships at DroneShield and International Gaming Technology, and advisory roles with The Chertoff Group and Freedom Capital Investment Management. A member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Council on Foreign Relations, Dr. Ravich continues to shape the landscape of national security and technology at the intersection of policy, innovation, and intelligence.
