Dwain Chambers

Dwain Chambers has transitioned from a decorated track sprinter to a motivational speaker and coach, impacting new generations of athletes. After setting a world junior record in the 100m with 10.06 seconds in 1997, Dwain Chambers quickly established himself as a dominant force in track and field. His early career included winning the boys’ intermediate 100m race at the 1994 English Schools’ Athletic Association Championships, and securing both the 100m and 4x100m relay titles at the 1995 European Junior Championships, which he successfully defended in 1997. Chambers earned a silver medal in the 100m at the 1998 European Championships and became a games record holder in the 4x100m relay at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

This academy mentors young athletes between the ages of 9 and 21, emphasizing discipline, goal-setting, and overcoming setbacks through sport-specific principles. He continues to engage with diverse audiences as a public speaker, sharing his compelling story of resilience and redemption. Demonstrating his enduring speed and competitive spirit, Chambers delivered a TedX talk in October 2023, reflecting on his career and insights. In 2024, he further showcased his continued athletic prowess by setting a new M45 Indoor 60m world record of 6.81s, underscoring his ongoing relevance in the athletics community.

Chambers remains the holder of the European record for the 60 meters, continuing to inspire and educate new generations of athletes and professionals through his various platforms.
