United States Earl Thomas transitioned from a highly decorated NFL safety to a former professional football player, recognized for his significant contributions to the sport.

Earl Thomas III was born on May 7, 1989, in Orange, Texas. He played college football at the University of Texas before being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round (14th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, Thomas established himself as a prominent free safety, known for his range, instincts, and hard-hitting play. He quickly became a cornerstone of the Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom” defense, contributing to their success and earning numerous accolades.
During his time with the Seattle Seahawks from 2010 to 2018, Thomas was selected for seven Pro Bowls and received first-team All-Pro honors three times (2012, 2013, 2014). A significant milestone in his career was winning Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks in 2014. He accumulated 30 interceptions, 455 interception return yards, and 2 touchdowns over his career. After his tenure with the Seahawks, Thomas signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2019, where he continued to play as a safety, earning another Pro Bowl selection before his release in August 2020. His career spanned 140 games, demonstrating consistent high-level performance.
