Elyse Levesque, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, began her acting career at 11 years old. She joined the repertory company for the children’s television series, Incredible Story Studio (1997). Following this, she took on roles in commercials for both television and radio, and played Dr. Maxine Rich in the YTV series 2030 CE (2002). After completing high school, Levesque pursued a modeling career internationally, working in various countries before returning to her hometown to study fine arts. She later moved to Vancouver, BC, to focus on acting.
Her career progressed with roles in both Canadian and American television and film. A significant turning point was in 2008 when she secured the role of Chloe Armstrong in the Syfy series Stargate Universe (2009), part of the MGM Stargate franchise. Levesque was nominated for a UBCP/ACTRA Award for her performance in the BBC America series Orphan Black. Her work also includes appearances in Fox Searchlight’s Ready or Not, where she acted alongside Andie MacDowell and Adam Brody. She has also appeared in The Big Ugly with Ron Perlman and Malcolm McDowell, and had a recurring guest role on the Canadian series Private Eyes, working with Jason Priestley.
Levesque has continued to be active in both film and television. Her recent credits include TV series such as Earth Abides (2024), CSI: Vegas (2024), Quantum Leap (2022), NCIS (2022), and The Orville (2022). She has also appeared in films like Disquiet (2023) and Doula (2022). In addition to acting, Levesque has expanded her work to include writing and producing, with upcoming projects such as the short film Hot Chocolate, where she is credited as both a writer and executive producer.
