Elyse Levesque secured a significant role in 2008 as Chloe Armstrong in the Syfy series Stargate Universe (2009), a pivotal part of the acclaimed MGM Stargate franchise. This followed early career work that began in 1997 when she joined the repertory company for the children’s television series, Incredible Story Studio. Levesque further developed her acting skills through various commercial roles for both television and radio, and by portraying Dr. Maxine Rich in the YTV series 2030 CE in 2002.
After establishing her foundation in Canada, she relocated to Vancouver, BC, to further focus on her professional acting career. Levesque continued to build a versatile portfolio across Canadian and American television and film. In 2017, she earned a UBCP/ACTRA Award nomination for her compelling performance in the BBC America series Orphan Black. Her film credits include Fox Searchlight’s Ready or Not (2019), where she appeared alongside Andie MacDowell and Adam Brody, and The Big Ugly (2020), featuring Ron Perlman and Malcolm McDowell.
Further showcasing her range, Levesque held a recurring guest role on the Canadian series Private Eyes from 2020 to 2021, working with Jason Priestley. Maintaining a prolific presence, Levesque’s recent television appearances include roles in Earth Abides (2024), CSI: Vegas (2024), Quantum Leap (2022), NCIS (2022), and The Orville (2022). She also appeared in the feature films Disquiet (2023) and Doula (2022), further demonstrating her commitment to both episodic and cinematic productions.
