Achieving significant recognition for her role as Holly Sutton in ‘General Hospital,’ Emma Samms played the character from 1982 to 1985, quickly establishing herself as a recognizable face in American television. Her decision to depart the show led to her joining the cast of ‘Dynasty’ in 1985 as Fallon Carrington Colby, a role she continued in the spin-off ‘The Colbys’ until 1987. Samms returned to ‘Dynasty’ from 1987 to 1989, further cementing her status in primetime soap operas, and later reprised the role in the 1991 miniseries ‘Dynasty: The Reunion.’ She also showcased her versatility with an appearance in the film ‘Delirious’ in 1991. Her enduring popularity on ‘General Hospital’ led to her character Holly Sutton being brought back from the dead in 1992, a testament to her impact on viewers.
