Finn Wittrock

Finn Wittrock has forged a notable career across film, television, and stage, recognized for his impactful roles in diverse productions. After making his acclaimed Broadway debut as Happy Loman in Mike Nichols’ 2012 revival of Death of a Salesman, Finn Wittrock went on to earn a Theatre World Award and the Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Male Performer. Prior to his stage success, Wittrock had made initial television guest appearances on series such as ER, Cold Case, and CSI: Miami. Wittrock gained significant industry recognition through his extensive collaborations with producer Ryan Murphy, beginning with the HBO film The Normal Heart in 2014.

That same year, he delivered a breakout performance as Dandy Mott in American Horror Story: Freak Show, which garnered him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2015. He continued his work across multiple seasons of American Horror Story, including Hotel, Roanoke, 1984, and Double Feature. In 2018, Wittrock earned another Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his role in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, also receiving a Satellite Award for Best Cast – Television Series in 2019. His collaboration with Murphy continued with the 2020 series Ratched, where his portrayal of Edmund Tolleson earned a Critics’ Choice Super Awards nomination for Best Villain in a Series.

Further expanding his creative footprint, he co-wrote the screenplay for the film The Submarine Kid, released in 2015. Most recently, Wittrock starred in the 2023 film Origin and the 2024 horror feature Don’t Move. He is also set to portray the iconic figure Milton Hershey in the upcoming biographical film Hershey, scheduled for release in 2026, showcasing his continued range and adaptability across diverse genres and platforms.
