Fiona Gubelmann is a television and film actress known for her roles in dramas such as Wilfred, Daytime Divas and The Good Doctor.
Gubelmann enjoyed acting throughout her youth, starring in plays and productions while she was growing up and even going to drama camp. She started college as a pre-medical student but changed to theatre to follow her dream of becoming an actress. She then studied at the Beverley Hills Playhouse and was cast in sitcom The Mullets soon after. Her film debut came with a part in Employee of the Month, guest starring in shows such as My Name is Earl, CSI: NY, Californication and Knight Rider over the next few years. Gubelmann’s next major part came in 2011 when she was cast in comedy Wilfred, and landed a main role as the character of Jenna Mueller. She was in the programme for three years, and the role has led to numerous guest appearances since, in shows including Family Guy, Animal Practice, Modern Family, New Girl and Mad Men. She has also had roles in television movies such as Tulips in Spring and Christmas Next Door, and this prolific actress is now a household name.
Ever since 2018, Gubelmann has starred in The Good Doctor, the much loved medical drama on ABC. She is now an experienced actress on both the small and big screen, and continues to be cast in upcoming productions.
