Francia Raisa

Widely recognized as Ana Patricia Torres on Black-ish and Grown-ish, Francia Raisa is an American actress of Mexican and Honduran descent. Born in Los Angeles, she’s made appearances in music videos, television series, and feature films including a lead role opposite Hayden Panettiere in Bring It On: All Or Nothing.

Raisa began pursuing an acting career during her junior year of high school and quickly made appearances in print ads and national commercials. She was soon featured in main roles in films such as Bring It On: All Or Nothing and two installments in the Cutting Edge series on ABC Family. She began her role as Adrian Lee in The Secret Life of the American Teenager in 2008, a main character in all five seasons of the hit series. Raisa has also made appearances in episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Mindy Project along with music videos for Lil Romeo, Iyaz, and MAX.

In 2018, she appeared as Ana in an episode of Black-ish on ABC, which resulted in a starring role in the spin-off series Grown-ish. She also starred in Life-Size 2 alongside Tyra Banks and played a main role in Beyond Paradise the same year. A Los Angeles resident, she is one of Selena Gomez’s closest friends and has amassed over a million followers on Instagram. Raisa strives to be a role model for all females and is passionate about raising awareness on issues such as hunger, domestic violence, sex trafficking, and female empowerment.
