Gabriela Guimaraes has transitioned from a gifted young athlete to a globally recognized volleyball star and captain of the Brazilian National Team. After joining Sesc Rio de Janeiro Volei Clube in 2011, Gabriela Guimaraes contributed to four South American Championship titles and secured Club World Championship silver medals in 2013 and 2017. Her early club career included a stint with Minas Tennis Clube in 2018, winning a South American Club Championship title in 2019. Guimaraes debuted with the Brazilian National Team in 2012, helping with their generational transition.
For the 2024-2025 season, Guimaraes embarked on a new professional challenge, joining the Italian club Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, where she immediately led the team to victory in the Italian Supercup. Known for her distinctive technical skill, explosive play, and remarkable composure under high-pressure situations, Guimaraes has earned widespread acclaim and popular nicknames such as ‘Miss Everything’ and ‘the daughter of the volleyball God,’ underscoring her comprehensive abilities and consistent high-level performance throughout her decorated career.
