Her 2011 Imagen Awards nomination for Go for It was followed by a breakout performance as Majo Tenorio in the independent musical-drama film Filly Brown at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012, for which she also received an Imagen Award the same year and the Inaugural Lupe Award in 2013.
In 2024, Rodriguez continued to balance her acting and producing endeavors, starring in and executive producing Players, and co-hosting and executive producing the ABC game show Lucky 13. Looking ahead, she is set to join the cast of Will Trent as Marion Alba in 2025 and will lend her voice to Rachel ‘Baby’ Feldstein in Long Story Short, also slated for 2025.
