Joshua Allen Eads, known by the stage name Ginger Minj, was born on September 11, 1984, in Leesburg, Florida. Minj began their career in theater, performing in Christian films and local productions like ‘Boys Boys Boys’ at the Orlando Fringe Festival in 2005. Early on, Minj earned several pageant titles, including “Miss National Comedy Queen 2012” and “Miss Gay United States 2013,” establishing a foundation in the drag community for comedic talent and strong stage presence. This early work laid the groundwork for a multifaceted career that would span across various entertainment platforms.
Minj gained widespread recognition in 2015 as a runner-up on the seventh season of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ where she won three challenges, including the ‘Snatch Game’ portraying Adele. This led to appearances on subsequent All Stars seasons, culminating in a win on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ season 10 in July 2025.
