Grant Vandevanter is a man of many talents: an amateur boxer and boxing trainer, a sketch comedian, an electrician, and a former contestant on the hit ABC reality series The Bachelorette. Vandevanter was picked for the show’s 14th season, which aired during summer 2018. Unfortunately, he was one of seven contestants eliminated in the first week, which denied him the chance to show bachelorette Becca Kufrin what he was really like and, sadly for us, denied the viewing public the chance to hear his story. Despite that, he says he enjoyed his time on the show, forging friendships with other potential suitors and using the opportunity to build his public profile.
Vandevanter hails from Danville, a town in the San Ramon Valley, Contra Costa County, that is officially the safest town in the whole of California. He was 27 a friend applied for him to be on The Bachelorette, a long-running, world-famous reality series in which 28 men hope to woo one single lady. Surprised by the subsequent offer, Vandevanter accepted, although in the event, his time on television was so short that he didn’t even get chance to talk to the bachelorette, and the series was eventually won by a fellow Californian, medical sales rep Garrett Yrigoyan.
Since his time on the show, Vandevanter has been slowly establishing himself as an amateur boxer and boxing trainer. As well as his popular personal Instagram account, he runs one dedicated to his boxing career. He also has a Cameo account on which he claims he can and will train anyone.
