Hugh Hewitt

Hugh Hewitt is a prominent conservative political commentator, radio talk show host, attorney, academic, and author, recognized for his insightful analysis across various media platforms. After holding several key positions within the Ronald Reagan administration, including Assistant White House Counsel and Special Assistant to the Attorney General, Hugh Hewitt went on to establish a multi-faceted career as a prominent conservative commentator, attorney, and academic. His early professional journey included serving as deputy director and General Counsel of the Office of Personnel Management, and General Counsel for the National Endowment for the Humanities. Following a clerkship for Judges Roger Robb and George MacKinnon on the U.S.

Demonstrating his enduring commitment to historical preservation and public service, he became the President and CEO of the Richard Nixon Foundation in 2019. Most recently, Hewitt concluded his tenure with The Washington Post in 2024, continuing to focus on his extensive media engagements and academic contributions.
