Ingrid Tarrant was born Ingrid Dupre in 1954, in Elstree, England. She became known as a television personality, appearing on shows such as “TV Mail,” “Wish You Were Here?” and “This Morning.” Her career also included an appearance on a special version of “What Not to Wear,” where she underwent a makeover.
Ingrid Tarrant’s public profile increased following her marriage to and subsequent divorce from Chris Tarrant in 2007. This period led to more media attention and a series of appearances on reality television programmes. These included “The Race,” “The Verdict,” “Deadline,” and “Celebrity Coach Trip,” where she partnered with friend Carol Harrison.
Beyond her television appearances, Tarrant has also moved into production, with credits such as executive producer for “A Friend of Dorothy” (2025). She maintains an interest in farming, with reports indicating plans to develop a new farming show. In her personal life, she ran the London Marathon in 1997 and has spoken about her Norwegian heritage and desire to live in Norway.
