Irma Georgiyevna Makhinia, born on September 6, 2002, is a Russian ski jumper. She commenced her senior career competing in various FIS events, including the FIS Cup and Continental Cup circuits. Makhinia’s early career involved participation in events like the FIS Ski Jumping Summer Grand Prix and World Cup competitions. Her progression in the sport involved consistent technical development and competition experience at national and international levels.
Makhinia achieved a significant milestone in 2021, earning a silver medal at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Lahti, Finland, for the Team Normal Hill event. This was followed by her debut at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022.
