Isaac Powell is an actor and singer known for his roles on Broadway and in television, including “American Horror Story” and “Dear Evan Hansen.” After graduating with an acting degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in May 2017, Isaac Powell immediately made his Broadway debut that same year, starring as Daniel in the critically acclaimed revival of Once on This Island at the Circle in the Square Theatre. His performance, particularly in the song ‘Some Girls,’ was noted by critics for its sensitivity and poignancy, and he recorded the role on the production’s cast album. This pivotal role led to a Grammy Award nomination for Best Musical Theater Album in 2019 for the Once on This Island cast recording. Prior to his Broadway success, Powell honed his craft in regional theater, originating the title role in Nikola Tesla Drops the Beat at the Adirondack Theatre Festival and performing in productions such as Legally Blonde at the Barn Dinner Theatres and Newsies and Mamma Mia!
