Ivan Sergei gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Matt Mateo in the 1998 critically acclaimed film The Opposite of Sex. Establishing himself in the mid-1990s, Sergei made his big-screen debut in the 1995 feature film Dangerous Minds, followed by an appearance in Gunfighter’s Moon the same year. He also took on roles in notable television movies such as If Someone Had Known (1995) and Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? (1996).
