Jack Bridge is a British soccer player that currently plays for Southend United of the National League. Jack was born with the sport running through his veins and there was never any doubt the youngster would take to the ball like a fish takes to water. Born and raised in Southend-on-Sea, England, he started playing at the tender age of nine at his current club, which incredibly also happened to be his local club, Southend United.
After a decade of playing at Southend, honing his skills and preparing himself for his future in football, the midfielder signed his first professional contract in 2014 at the age of 19, with Southend. Jack initially went on loan to the Soham Team Rangers, getting his first experience in first-team football. During his season with the team he scored 2 goals in 5 starts, an impressive record for a fresh face on the field. In 2015 Jack signed with Chelmsford City, and re-signed with the side the following season alongside fellow Southend loanee Jason Williams. His first game back with the team Jack scored, assisted and was named Man of the Match, leading Chelmsford to a 4-3 victory over Whitehawk.
That same year Jack finally made his professional debut with Southend United. In 2019 he moved on to join the Carlisle United line-up, before saying hello to the Concord Rangers in 2020. Early 2021 Jack signed for Bromley before eventually signing back with Southend United later in the year, with whom he still currently plays.
