Jack Bridge

Jack Bridge was born on September 21, 1995, in Southend-on-Sea, England. He began his football journey at West Ham United at a young age before joining his hometown club, Southend United, at nine years old. In April 2014, he signed his first professional contract with Southend United, marking the beginning of his senior career. To gain first-team experience, Bridge had loan spells with Soham Town Rangers in November 2014, where he scored two goals in five appearances, and Chelmsford City in January 2015 and again in January 2016. During his second loan with Chelmsford City in 2016, he scored seven goals in 14 appearances and earned a ‘Man of the Match’ award.

Bridge made his debut for Southend United on April 30, 2016. His performance led to him signing a two-year contract extension with the club in May 2016. In January 2018, Bridge transferred to Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee, where he played 32 matches and scored 2 goals across the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. Following his release from Northampton in May 2019, he joined Carlisle United on a one-year deal, making 28 appearances. He later played for Concord Rangers in the National League South in 2020 and Bromley in the National League in 2021 before returning to Southend United in June 2021. With Southend United in the National League, he has accumulated significant appearances and goals, notably scoring 13 goals in 42 appearances during the 2022-23 season and 7 goals in 46 appearances in the 2023-24 season. As of the 2024-25 season, Bridge has made 45 appearances and scored 2 goals, continuing to be a consistent performer for the team.
