Television presenter Jack Maxwell is known for hosting Booze Traveler and National Enquirer TV, as well as TV series Beyond the Break.
Maxwell’s television career started in the mid-nineties with small roles in dramas such as The Watcher, Shoot It and Just Add Love. In 1999 he became the host of popular news show National Enquirer TV, a culture and current affairs programme which he hosted for a year. This led to more roles in films including Dean Quixote and The Pharaoh Project, as well as television shows Charmed and Power Rangers Wild Force. Maxwell then played Mr Godfrey in the surfing drama Beyond the Break, starring in five episodes of the show over three years. In 2014 he created and hosted his own show called Booze Traveler in which he travels around the world searching for the drinking customs and culture in different countries. The show became hugely popular, and more than 50 episodes were aired. The programme helped to cement Maxwell’s reputation and make him a household name, and he has since gone on to host TV specials such as the 8th Annual National Arts and Entertainment Awards and The Trip 2016. He’s also made appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Today.
Most recently, Maxwell has taken a break from television and film following a cancer diagnosis. He has bravely spoken out about his illness and how it has affected his life, and is now set to make a comeback on the small screen with a new series of Booze Traveler.
