Jacqueline Mary Jossa was born on October 29, 1992, in Bexley, Kent, England. She began her training at D&B Theatre School in Bromley and furthered her education at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her professional acting career commenced in 2010 when she was cast as Lauren Branning in the BBC soap opera “EastEnders”. This role became her most prominent, spanning from 2010 to 2018. During her initial tenure on “EastEnders,” she also participated in spin-off web series “Lauren’s Diaries” in 2010 and 2011, providing additional depth to her character.
Following her departure from “EastEnders” in 2018, Jossa continued to explore various television opportunities. A significant turning point in her career came in November 2019 when she competed in the nineteenth series of the ITV reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”.
