In September, English appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court to address allegations of domestic abuse. The charges include 19 allegations spanning from July 2022 to November 2023. These allegations involve claims of controlling aspects of the accuser’s life, including finances and contact with others, as well as instances of physical assault, some of which allegedly occurred while the accuser was pregnant. English has pleaded not guilty to these charges, and the legal proceedings are ongoing, with further hearings scheduled for disclosure of evidence before a trial date.
