James Wade is an accomplished English professional darts player currently competing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He made history in 2007 when he became the youngest player to win a major PDC title by claiming the World Matchplay at just 24 years old. Although this record has since been surpassed by Michael van Gerwen, Wade’s achievement remains a significant milestone in his career. With eleven PDC major titles to his name, he ranks third on the all-time list behind legends Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen.
Wade’s impressive list of accolades includes victories in the World Grand Prix in 2007 and 2010, the UK Open in 2008, 2011, and 2021, and the Premier League in 2009.
