Jane Levy quickly secured her first television role as Mandy Milkovich in the Showtime series ‘Shameless’ in early 2011, swiftly leading to her breakout lead role later that year as Tessa Altman in the ABC sitcom ‘Suburgatory,’ which she starred in from 2011 to 2014. Her impactful early performances garnered significant industry recognition, with TV Guide and TheInsider.com naming her a breakout star in 2011, and Forbes including her on their prestigious ’30 Under 30′ list of entertainment stars the same year. Expanding her work into film, Levy also appeared in the 2012 features ‘Fun Size’ and ‘Nobody Walks.’ Transitioning seamlessly between genres, Levy earned significant recognition for her lead role as Mia in the 2013 remake of the horror classic ‘Evil Dead.’ This successful collaboration with director Fede Álvarez continued for the critically acclaimed 2016 horror thriller ‘Don’t Breathe,’ which became a sleeper hit at the box office. During this period, she also co-starred in a variety of independent films, including ‘About Alex’ (2014), ‘Bang Bang Baby’ (2014), and ‘Frank and Cindy’ (2015), alongside the live-action/CGI film ‘Monster Trucks’ (2016).

She reprised her role in ‘Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas’ (2021) and appeared in ‘Dave’ (2023). Most recently, Levy starred in ‘A Little Prayer’ (2023), which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, and made her theatrical debut at the Geffen Playhouse in ‘POTUS’ in 2024.
