Janhvi Kapoor, born on March 6, 1997, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, comes from a prominent film family. Her father, Boney Kapoor, is an actor and producer, and her mother, Sridevi, was a renowned actress in multiple Indian film industries. Janhvi completed her schooling at Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai and later pursued an acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in California. Despite her mother’s initial preference for her to pursue medicine, Janhvi chose an acting career, following in her mother’s footsteps.
Kapoor made her acting debut in 2018 with the romantic drama “Dhadak,” co-starring Ishaan Khatter and produced by Dharma Productions.
